VRChat & Vket Shatters records with 2025 Virtualmarket with 1.35 million visitors!
From July 12 to July 27, 2025, HIKKY Inc. organized the 14th edition of the Virtual Market 2025 Summer (Vket).
From vket.com: "Virtual Market (a.k.a. Vket) is one of the world's largest virtual events - an exhibition of 3D avatars and assets, IRL products (fashion, PCs, food products, etc.) on the metaverse! Vket sees over a million visitors from around the world, and even holds multiple Guinness World Records™!"
The event is both an IRL and a Virtual event, held in Akihabara on July 26–27, with over 50,000 people attending, and the event that was held in VRChat from July 12 to July 27, 2025, with over 1.35 million people attending! This also had a surge of new Female users attending the event.
The event also featured more than just people visiting, with reports from exhibitors' sales being in the tens of millions of yen(around $67,720 to $609,480), with booths receiving responses to surveys over the 30,000 mark!
